VERSION 3.6 BETA 3 UPDATE ANNOUNCEMENT
Dear Players,
To give everyone a better gaming experience, Version 3.6's third beta test is scheduled for December 19. PUBG MOBILE's latest chapter brings you into a mythical world dominated by ancient elemental forces. Join the Four Guardians Sect with your teammates and indulge in the powers of Fire, Water, Wind, and Nature!
New Themed Mode: Sacred Quartet
New Themed Areas
- Four Guardians Sect:
1. A cultivation sanctum resting atop a towering mountain, wherein traces of various elements are gathered. Approach the area at the base of the mountain where elemental forces converge to automatically get flown to the sky above the island for a parachute jump.
2. Elemental devices scattered around the area include:
a. Fire Stone: Automatically picked up on approach. Grants a short speed buff and a flame slide effect that can be triggered by crouching while running.
b. Water Geyser: Erupts intermittently. When it erupts, players above it will be launched into the air and gain the ability to slowly descend for a short time. Press jump to cancel the effect.
c. Wood Vines: Tap the climb button near it to effortlessly scale it and gain a better vantage point.
3: Refined Crates: Use elemental arts on them and after a short duration they will explode, leaving behind supplies.
4. Spirit Air Drops: After a period of time has passed in the sanctum, a countdown will announce the imminent arrival of two air drop crates at random locations that contain valuable supplies.
- Elemental Mastery Pavilion:
1. Training halls where Sect disciples of each elemental faction once trained every day.
2. Elemental Devices: This area contains various elemental devices corresponding to the faction they correlate to - Fire Stones, Water Geysers, and Wood Vines.
3. Cultivation Chamber: Pass all the elemental trials for a chance gain secret Sect treasures.
4. Serene Bamboo Forest: Feed the pandas resting in this area to gain their favor and get a Panda vehicle.
5. Spirit Gate: Portals that enable one-way travel from the Elemental Mastery Pavilion to the Four Guardians Sect. The gate stays open for 30 seconds, after which it will become inactive for a certain duration before opening again.
- Mystic Enclave:
1. Mystic Scrolls are scattered throughout the map. Interact with them to teleport to the Mystic Enclave.
2. Interact with the meditation cushion found within to open the crate in front of it.
3. Interact with the Mystic Scroll beside the cushion to leave the area.
New Elemental Arts
- Elemental Art Selection: Select an elemental art after arriving at Spawn Island. You can edit your choice at any time on Spawn Island, but it is fixed upon arriving at the battleground.
- Flaming Phoenix: Damage and movement abilities.
1. Let the element of fire possess you and gain two new abilities: Fireball Throw and High Jump.
2. Fireball: Throw a fireball that slowly spreads where it lands. Fireballs will not harm allies.
3. High Jump: Jump upward and forward.
4. Both skills consume Energy, but can be used quickly one after another. Energy gradually recovers.
5. Fire possession lasts a set duration or until manually canceled.
- Aqua Dragon: A defensive ability.
1. Use it to spawn a dragon that forms a wide water barrier.
2. The barrier is opaque and blocks the enemy's view.
3. Characters, vehicles, bullets, and throwables can pass through the water barrier. Shots that pass through deal reduced damage.
5. You can move the water barrier, but can't hold a firearm or heal up while doing so.
- Whirlwind Tiger: A swift movement ability.
1. Move forward swiftly with the aid of a floating cloud. You cannot use firearms or perform actions such as crouching while atop the cloud.
2. A wind shield in the shape of a tiger's head will appear in front of the player, providing protection against gunfire from both the front and sides. It will disappear when its Health is depleted.
3. When the skill expires or is manually canceled, players will leap off the cloud. If the wind shield is active, it will vanish as well.
- Naturespirit Deer: A cloning ability.
1. Summon a deer spirit that can be made to travel over long distances like a horse.
2. Control the deer to attack enemies and mark them temporarily.
3. Players can teleport to the deer's location, but it has a long start up and the deer will disappear afterwards.
New Gameplay Mechanics
- Spirit Collecting Bell
1. Some time after the start of a themed match, all surviving teams will be separated into groups.
2. Each group is assigned a Spirit Collecting Bell. Its location is only visible to members of the group.
3. Approach the bell and interact with it to activate a countdown. A crate will appear at the end of the countdown, leaving supplies on the ground.
- Guardians United
At the start of the challenge, each of the 4 players must select a sacred beast's elemental art. All players must survive to claim victory, upon which a special results animation will play.
New Scenery Interactions
- Water Vat:
Break it through various actions. Once broken, it will spray out supplies.
- Chime Bells:
Consult the stone tablet to receive a password, then shoot the corresponding chime bells in the correct order to open the crate.
New Themed Vehicle
- 2-Seater Animal Vehicle: Panda
1. Found in the bamboo forest.
2. Players can use firearms when it's in its basic form.
3. In its rolling form, the panda is more defensive and swiftly carries its passengers in its arms. It switches back to basic form after taking a certain amount of damage in rolling form.
Classic Mode Updates
- Vehicle Drift: New Vehicle Feature
Vehicles can be drifted by using the emergency brake while turning. Steer and adjust the throttle to stabilize its position and trajectory.
WOW Updates
Editor Improvements
- Playtest Feature: Start a playtest from your character's current location.
- Custom Presets: You can now edit preset parameters, save them as a custom preset, and add custom attributes.
- Advanced Feature Display: Advanced features will be hidden by default. To access them, go to the editor parameter interface and change editing modes.
- New Livik Template: Added an empty Livik map template.
- Backpack Tab: Added a Functional Objects tab for contested objects, pickups, and more.
- Dog Tag Pickup: Added a dog tag pickup object used for new gameplay.
New Arena Gameplay: Themed Arena
-Four Guardians Sect: This themed Arena mode takes place in a recreation of Sacred Quartet themed mode's Four Guardians Sect.
-Rules: Themed Arena mode. Enjoy unlimited respawns. You will respawn next to a teammate. Earn 1 point for each enemy eliminated. The first team that eliminates the specified number of enemies in the given time wins.
Metro Royale Updates
New Mode: Survival Drop
1. Playzone Mechanic: Playzones will appear and shrink at random locations. Players outside the Playzone will take damage over time. Strategize wisely and manage your time to the fullest! Plan your route carefully to loot safely, and be ready to face external threats at all times.
2. Air Drop Crates: Air drop crates filled with amazing supplies will spawn randomly during the match, waiting for you to claim them. Every search holds the potential for unexpected surprises and valuable loot.
