How do I freeze my account in Okx?

If you no longer need to use your account in OKX, you can freeze it. Below is a summary of the account freezing tutorial for your reference.Once you freeze your account, you won't be able to log in or register using the same email/phone/personal identity information. However, if you decide to unfreeze the account, you can contact our customer service for assistance.

Getting started

Log in to your account at okx.com and go to the security center (Profile icon > Security)

Find Account management at the Security Center page, select Freeze account

Read what'll happen after freezing your account

Select Reason to freeze account

Tick the below terms if you confirmed to freeze it

Select Freeze account

Get SMS/email and Authenticator code and Confirm to freeze the account

Note: it's required to bind with an Authenticator app in your account before freezing it.
