Working principle
Most modern aircraft are equipped with ADS-B responders, which broadcast location data. Flightradar24 has a network of over 40000 ground stations to receive this data, allowing users to see the movement of the aircraft on the map in the application. For aircraft without ADS-B responders installed, their location can be calculated using multi-point positioning technology in some areas.
